Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh pineapple juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs or 680 g)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced (for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

🥄 Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, orange juice, pineapple juice, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil until well combined.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or container and pour in the marinade. Ensure the chicken is well-coated. Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (up to 4 hours for more flavor).
  3. Preheat the Grill: Heat the grill to medium-high (about 400°F or 204°C).
  4. Remove Chicken from Marinade: Take the chicken out of the marinade and let excess liquid drip off. Discard the marinade.
  5. Oil the Grill: Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
  6. Grill the Chicken: Place the chicken on the grill. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Rest the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve: Slice the chicken and garnish with diced pineapple and sliced green onions. Enjoy!
